We provide our clients with user-friendly step-by-step tutorials on setting up cameras:

Ensure the batteries are not dead.

Ensure the sim card in use is active and is loaded with either airtime or data - see our Sim Management service.
*Note: Network providers discard sim cards which have been inactive for more than 6 months.

Any signal issues may be improved with use of one of our antennas.

Finally, ensure that the camera setup was done correctly. If unsure, please follow one of our tutorials suited to your camera.

The Willburg server provides clients with a secure username and password-protected account.

Willburg will not distribute any photos prior to receiving consent from our clients.

Any service provider which supports 2G or edge, we recommend using: Vodacom, MTN or Telkom.

Antennas are available for purchase for increased signal strength.

All standard sized sim cards are supported.

Sim cards are required to be RICA'd

Sim cards are required to be loaded with a data package or airtime (standard network T&C's apply).

Data is cheaper, but expires after 30 days, as specified by service provider T&C's

Airtime is more expensive, but has no expiry date.

We recommend taking advantage of our Sim Management package offered to clients.

Nominal Voltage: 1.5V and Typical Capacity: 3000 mAh.

We do not recommend the use of rechargeable batteries as they supply a lower voltage.

Solar panels are available for purchase for an enhanced lifespan.

Willburg aims to support all GSM-enabled devices within the near future.

Our clients are not limited to how many cameras or specific brands they may add to their account.

Our clients are also able to share cameras with friends (provided they have said cameras' details).
